Dear This letter is to express my strong conviction that war is not the answer to the current strife in our country. No analysis explains, excuses or justifies the terrorists' attacks against the United States. Nothing would excuse, explain or justify our perpetuating more of the same. Please! Fund justice, not war. Sincerely,
Dear War is not the answer to the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. Please help our country lead the way to a "world" policy, rather than a "foreign" policy. A policy recognizing that bigger does not mean better; stronger does not mean right. Please help our country develop its real strength and share it with the world: the ability to communicate, negotiate, listen and hear; the resources to replace bombs with food, medical supplies, farm equipment, cows, water purification systems. These work; they help people live who will help other people live. Bombs don't work. Remember the survivors in New York City standing with signs reading "Our grief is not a cry for war." Thank you for the hours you spend on my behalf as a citizen of the United States. Sincerely,
