Quest would like to thank our friends and sponsorsThe Packard Foundation The
Packard Foundation was created in 1964 by David Packard (1912-1996), co-founder of the
Hewlett-Packard Company, and his wife, Lucile Salter Packard (1914-1987). They believed
America to be the home of a unique type of organization dependent upon private funding and
volunteer leadership. Together, universities, national institutions, community groups,
youth agencies, family planning centers, and hospitals constitute a great American
tradition that complements government efforts to focus on society's needs. In many ways,
private programs are more effective than those of government. The Foundation, now in its
thirty-second year, will continue to support these organizations with the hope and
expectation that we can strengthen them and, thereby, help people through the improvement
of scientific knowledge, education, health, culture, employment, the environment, and
quality of life. The Ottinger Foundation The CKS Group The San Francisco Foundation The San Francisco Foundation is a
charitable organization that seeks to serve projects that add to the quality of life in
the SanFrancisco Bay Area. It focuses on neighborhood and community development, arts and
humanities, community health, education, environment, and social services in the Alameda,
Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. If you would like to help SYESP out, contact us! | |
